Joanne MacBride was born in Ottawa, Ontario; and began her riding career at the age of 8 years. She rode for two years in Quebec, and subsequently for another two years in Zweiibrucken, Germany. Her first horse was a Spanish Barb from Nebraska.
During the last 22 years Joanne has been riding and training in Fredericton,N.B. She managed Carriage Hill Farm Equestrian Centre from 2006-2008 where she taught and trained. Joanne is an Equine Canada Judge, holding three cards...Saddle Seat Equitation Judge, Arabian Judge, and Morgan Judge. She is an NCCP, Equine Canada accredited Level 1 Saddle Seat Coach. She also teaches hunt seat, dressage seat, and show hack. She is available for teaching at your own facility or at The Jeffries Farm at Scotch Lake, just outside of the city of Fredericton. She is also available for show judging.
Joanne is married to Peter McCormack; and has three children and three grandchildren. She holds a Master’s Degree and has a part-time Private Practice in Counselling; doing individual, couple, and family therapy.
